Nuts

A Hexagonal Nut is the most commonly used nut and is designed to be used with a variety of standard bolt types as well as threaded rod. Easily tightened with either a ratchet or spanner, when used in conjunction with a suitable washer this nut will hold a fastener in place when used alongside an unthreaded hole.

Locking Nuts also known as locknuts or self-locking nuts are fitted with a nylon insert which is designed to secure and withstand any slacking of the nut. Available in sizes from 6mm to 12mm.
